“I’m enjoying the things we’ve learned about so far, the trips we’ve been on have been good. We went to Bluewater shopping centre which helped me learn about what different shops do in the area, and what it’s like to be part of a big business.
We also went to Canterbury Christ Church University, which was one of the best trips we went on. It gave me an idea of what university life is all about, so I can think about this in the future as an option.

“I’ve been learning where I may want to go from my next step and how I can take that. The skills I’ve picked up I can also take and use them in a workplace. I’ve made good friends along the way that I plan on keeping in touch with later in life.
We’ve done a lot of presentation and display work for people to see around the College, and we’ve done some mini-competition work against the other College departments around this. We get the chance to listen to guest speakers who come in and talk to us about our futures.
We also went to Launch It this year, where we spoke about how to start your own business and how they can help us do it should this be the path for us.”
