On Thursday 22 August, students at EKC Sheppey College collected their GCSE and Level 2 results. We caught up with some of our students to congratulate them on their success and find out where they are heading next.
Kendal Attrell, GCSE English and Level 2 Early Years
Achieved Grade 5 in GCSE English and completed a Level 2 Diploma in Early Years
“After achieving my Grade 5 in GCSE English and completing Level 2 Early Years, I will be progressing onto the T Level in Education and Childcare at EKC Canterbury College. The T Level will help me get closer to becoming a Secondary or Primary School Teacher.
“The Teachers at College have helped me become more mature and independent helping me move onto the T Level course.”
Dawn Vidican, GCSE English
Achieved Grade 7 in GCSE English
“I needed my English so I can go and become a Nurse. Now I have achieved a Grade 7 I will be able to move away and start my nursing career.
“The advice I would give to students that are looking to complete their English is look up some simple words that you can change the words around to sound better. This helped me achieve the higher grade that I needed.”
Lawrence Shenker, GCSE Maths
Achieved G4 in GCSE Maths
“After achieving the Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and completing my English last year, I am now going to look into becoming a Teacher.
“I would highly recommend this course to anyone. The support here has been amazing much better than what I received at School.”
