You will learn how to support children and young people’s learning in a school or college. The course will cover a range of areas including:
- Children and young people’s development
- Supporting positive behaviour in a learning environment
- Communication and professional relationships
- Safeguarding
- Understanding children and young people’s play and leisure
Alongside classroom-based learning, you will complete a work placement in an early years setting to gain practical experience and demonstrate your knowledge and skills
