Nigel Martin

Nigel is the CEO of Sheppey Matters, a health and wellbeing charity based on the Isle of Sheppey, having joined in 2011 as his first venture into the voluntary and community sector. Previously, Nigel has a long and successful history within the travel and tourism sector working with American young people in the cultural field, and before that was involved at the beginning of the Eurostar launch and beyond.
Nigel is also qualified on a part-time basis as a youth worker with Kent County Council, working with young people in Swale and Medway for 40 years. Nigel is married, has one son and two grandsons, enjoys travelling, reading and the odd spot of DIY at home.
