Anthony Savvides
Deputy Principal
Anthony is Deputy Principal of EKC Sheppey College, and has been in the role since November 2025.
In his role as our Deputy Principal, he is dedicated to creating positive impacts for all staff and students. His goal is to enable everyone to reflect on their time at EKC Sheppey College with both fond memories and tangible success.
Inspired by a desire to improve the quality of sport provision, he has spent over 15 years working in education.
This includes various roles such as a Sports Coach, PE Teacher, Lecturer, and Head of Department/Curriculum Manager.
He believes the key skills for student success include strong organisation, clear communication, teamwork, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
He supports Tottenham Hotspur FC in the Premier League, and the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He can be found enjoying and cooking greek BBQ food all times of the year in his garden.
His advice to our students is: “You miss 100% of shots that you don’t take”, and “The more eager you are to learn, the better your education and future opportunities will be.”
